barak.spec.scalemult¶

barak.spec.scalemult(w0, f0, e0, w1, f1, e1, mask=None)[source]¶

find the constant to multipy f1 by so its median will match f0 where they overlap in wavelength.

Errors are just used to identify bad pixels, if they are all > 0 they are ignored.

mask is optional, and of the form [(3500,4500), (4650,4680)] to mask wavelengths from 3500 to 4500 Ang, and 4650 to 4680 Ang for example.
