barak.spec.Spectrum.write¶

Spectrum.write(filename, header=None, overwrite=False)[source]¶

Writes out a spectrum, as ascii - wavelength, flux, error, continuum.

overwrite can be True or False.

header is a string to be written to the file before the spectrum. A special case is header=’RESVEL’, which means the instrumental fwhm in km/s will be written on the first line (VPFIT style).
