Spectrum.stats(wa1, wa2, show=False)[source]¶

Calculates statistics (mean, standard deviation (i.e. RMS), mean error, etc) of the flux between two wavelength points.

Returns:

mean flux, RMS of flux, mean error, SNR:
   SNR = (mean flux / RMS)
